Description: Applicants must be female Michigan residents who are studying to prepare for or further their careers in technology and computing at an accredited institution of higher learning. They must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Degree-seeking candidates must have at least two semesters of coursework remaining before completion of their educational programs. Applicants seeking a computer certification must apply the scholarship to tuition or course fees only. Selection is based on the strength of essay responses and on the level of involvement in the computing community.

Description: Applicants must be women who are returning to school after an interruption of at least 48 consecutive months or a total of 50 months excluding interruptions of less than 8 months. Candidates must be working toward a clear educational goal at any University of Michigan campus. Preference is given to women wishing to study in non-traditional fields such as mathematics, physical sciences and engineering.
