Description: Applicants must demonstrate outstanding service in community, church and school and must be at least 15 years of age, in high school and either members of a troop chartered by the American Legion/Auxiliary or sons or grandsons of members of the American Legion/Auxiliary. Students must have received the Eagle Scout Award as well as the Boy Scout religious emblem. Scholarships may be used to attend a state-accredited college, university or other school above the high school level.

Description: Applicants must be nominated by parents, educators or community members. There are two categories: one for kids ages 6-12 and another for ages 13-18. Nominees must be legal U.S. residents who have not graduated from high school.

National Eagle Scout Association Academic Scholarships

Description: Applicants must be Eagle Scouts who have received credentials from the national office. They must be graduating high school and entering college in the year of application and have an SAT score of 1200 or higher or an ACT score of 28 or higher. Demonstrated leadership ability in scouting and record of participation in activities outside of scouting are required.
