A tuition payment plan is generally an interest-free* option offered by many schools that breaks down the large lump-sum payments due at the beginning of each semester into easy-to-manage installments. You still owe the same amount of tuition*, but you now have more time to pay and your payments are smaller and more manageable.
You can use a tuition payment plan on its own, or combined with financial aid and student loans, to help manage your total costs.
Sallie Mae administers tuition payment plans on behalf of a number of schools. To see if we administer a plan for your school, visit the tuition payment plan page, select ‘Start Your Enrollment’ and then click on the ‘state’ and school’ buttons. If you find your school and want to go ahead and enroll in a payment plan, just continue through the enrollment process. In a few easy steps, your payment plan enrollment will be complete.
Once you enroll, you can make your monthly payments via paper check, electronic debit, and credit card (if permitted by school) by accessing Manage Your Account, our online account management system.
During enrollment you will create your log in ID and password to access Manage Your Account to view your account information and status, view your monthly statement, make payments, edit your profile, and more.
For more information, visit the tuition payment plan or call (800) 635-0120.
