Indiana offers a variety of financial aid programs such as grants, scholarships, and other awards for students who want to further their education beyond high school:

Important: To qualify for federal and other sources of financial aid, you must file the FAFSA. To ensure priority consideration for Indiana state scholarships and grants, your FAFSA must be submitted online or postmarked by March 10.

State Residency Requirement

U.S. citizens or permanent residents over age 21 are eligible for resident student status after they have been physically present in Indiana for twelve consecutive months prior to the first day of classes.

Students under age 21 are eligible for resident student status if their parents or legal guardians reside in Indiana for 12 months.

Other general criteria may apply.
 

Graduation Requirements

Students need to pass Indiana's Graduation Qualifying Exam to receive a high school diploma.

If you plan to attend an Indiana college or university, you'll need to complete the Core 40 Curriculum in high school.
